How to spot weld stainless steel and copper?

Stainless steel is a general term for stainless steel and acid resistant steel. Stainless steel, also known as austenitic, martensitic, and ferritic stainless steel, refers to steel that is resistant to weak media corrosion such as atmosphere, steam, and water, while acid resistant steel refers to steel that is resistant to chemical corrosive media such as acid, alkali, and salt.
There is a significant difference in the degree of alloying between stainless steel and acid resistant steel. Stainless steel may not be acid resistant; Acid resistant steel generally has rust resistance.
The rust resistance and corrosion resistance of stainless steel are mainly due to the main element chromium content, which can form a chromium rich oxide film (passivation film) on the surface of the steel. Therefore, the chromium content in stainless steel should be higher than 12%.
Heat resistant steel refers to steel that can maintain chemical stability (corrosion resistance, non oxidation) and has sufficient strength at high temperatures.
The heat resistance of steel is mainly achieved through alloying, and it can be divided into low alloy heat-resistant steel according to its alloy composition content; There are three major categories: medium alloy heat-resistant steel and high alloy heat-resistant steel. Low alloy heat-resistant steel refers to heat-resistant steel with an alloying element content less than 5%; Medium alloy heat-resistant steel refers to heat-resistant steel with an alloying element content of 5%~12%; High alloy hot steel refers to heat-resistant steel with an alloying element content greater than 13%. The heat-resistant steel mentioned in this book is only high alloy heat-resistant steel, and does not involve low alloy or medium alloy heat-resistant steel.
The main element added to heat-resistant steel is chromium, and the chromium content is generally greater than 12%, which is the same as stainless steel. Therefore, this type of steel has both heat resistance, rust resistance, and corrosion resistance. Therefore, many types of heat-resistant steel are also stainless steel. Some people refer to this type of heat-resistant steel as heat-resistant stainless steel, and the stainless steel mentioned earlier as corrosion-resistant stainless steel, also collectively referred to as stainless steel, and in many situations (such as in welding materials), they are collectively referred to as stainless steel.
What is the melting temperature of stainless steel at 1500 degrees? The melting temperature of copper is around 1100 degrees. Due to the strong heat resistance and high electrical resistivity of stainless steel, the intermediate frequency spot welding machine welding method can be implemented.
The current density and heating speed of the intermediate frequency spot welding machine can quickly complete welding.
There is another relatively easy method to weld stainless steel and copper wires together:
Firstly, prepare some acid: just a few milliliters of dilute hydrochloric acid (Hcl+H2O) and put it into a small glass bottle; Break a manganese zinc dry battery, take a few square millimeters of its outer gray zinc skin, put it into dilute hydrochloric acid, start foaming, and wait for half an hour before it can be used.
Secondly, use a toothpick to take up some acid and apply it to the area where the wire needs to be welded on the stainless steel,
Thirdly, use an electric soldering iron to apply solder to areas with acid, so that it is completely immersed.
Fourthly, it is not difficult to solder the soldered wire head onto it.
The above welding methods can all weld stainless steel and copper wire together, depending on the job requirements and the selection of process parameters
