Safety Issues That Have To Be Emphasized When Operating Spot Welding Machines
Leave a message
Spot welding equipment refers to a metal welding equipment that uses the principle of resistance heating for welding operations. Including spot welders, projection welders and butt welders. In some cases, the control box matched with these welding machines is also included. Various welding machines are mainly composed of fuselage, welding power source, pressure transmission device, electrode, gas circuit system, water cooling system, electrical system, etc.
In the box of the spot welding fuselage, some electrical components have high voltage, so guards, doors and covers are used to block them; it not only avoids electric shock to the human body, but also protects electrical components and lines from dust. The door or cover of the box should be equipped with a door switch, which is connected in series with the control circuit of the welding machine to play an interlocking protection role. The fuselage is close to the ground, and reliable grounding protection should be made. During installation, the distance between the welding part of the fuselage and the ground should be correctly adjusted according to the production characteristics, because during the operation of the spot welding machine, the welder needs to send and take the welding parts frequently, and the proper welding position can improve the production efficiency of the welder. In order to facilitate the safe operation of the equipment, a safety cut-off switch or a power supply circuit breaker with an appropriate capacity should be installed near the welding machine. If the equipment is to be adjusted or maintained, the power supply should be cut off first, otherwise serious accidents will occur.
